Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov and Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov discussed trade and economic relations between the two countries, Masimov wrote on his Facebook page.
Mr Babanov is on an official visit to Kazakhstan.
"Following the meeting, which took place in one-on-one format, expanded bilateral talks were held. The sides discussed state and prospects of development of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations in trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation," the report says.
