UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan for the first time, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported referring to Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Altai Abibullayev.
Navi Pillay's visit to Kazakhstan will be a part of her Central Asian tour.
Within the visit, Pillay plans to meet with Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov, other members of the Kazakh government, Kazakh Attorney General Askhat Dauylbaev and representatives of UN agencies and non-governmental organizations' members.
