A car, truck and bus collided in the Akmola region in the center of Kazakhstan, as a result of which 15 people died, 22 others were injured, Kazakh Emergency Situations Ministry said on Monday.
According to authorities, the traffic accident took place on Sunday night near the village of Babatay on the highway "Alma-Ata-Yekaterinburg", RIA Novosti reported.
"A Yutong public bus following the route "Astana-Karaganda", which had 31 people on board, collided with a Shaanxi truck and Audi automobile. As a result of the traffic accident the bus driver and his passengers - 14 people, including one child - died on the scene, 22 people with various injuries were hospitalized," the Emergency Situations Ministry said on Monday.
According to the Ministry, 15 people and six special equipment of the Kazakh Emergency Situations Ministry were involved on the scene.
