Six people died and two injured in a collision between a truck and passenger car in the Almaty region in the south of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said today.
According to the ministry, the accident happened on Monday at the 48 kilometre section of the Aksai-Shonzhy-Kalzhat road, 'Novosti - Kazakhstan' reported today.
"A Mitsubishi passenger car and MAN truck collided," the ministry said today. "As a result, the driver of Mitsubishi car and his five passengers, including four women died at the spot."
Two passengers of the Mitsubishi car were taken to a nearby hospital. The victims are currently being identified.
