Kazakhstan intends to adopt Germany’s experience for development of vocational training

A Kazakh delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Erbol Orynbayev during a trip to Germany visited the Berlin Dual Education College, where it got acquainted with the vocational education system in Germany, Kazakh Foreign Ministry said.

"At a meeting with the leadership of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) views were exchanged on the establishment of cooperation in the training of technical-vocational cadres by example of successful implementation of the program for training of managers," the report says.

As is known, this program is active since 2003 and is aimed at professional training of Kazakh managerial personnel in the sphere of economy.

In this regard Orynbaev called on "GIZ" representatives to develop programs to ensure reliable cadre basis for process of modernization and industrialization of the economy.

German Society board member Tom Petz, in turn, expressed readiness of the "GIZ" to provide the most active assistance in the process of applying the German experience of "dual education" in Kazakhstan

Bilateral meetings with the leaders of the Fraunhofer Research Institute and Steinbeis Center were held within bilateral cooperation on technology transfer and development of applied sciences.
