Imanzhusup Akpombaev appointed Deputy Minister of Defence of Kazakhstan, the press service of Kazakh President reported.
"The head of state appointed I. Akpombaev as Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", - said in a statement.
Earlier Colonel Akpombaev was deputy defense minister for economics and finance.
