Kazakhstan, Astana, September 2 / Trend D. Mukhtarov/
Kazakhstan can enter the top 30 world countries before 2050, the country's President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a joint session of parliament's chambers on Monday.
"We are entering a most critical stage of our development that is the implementation of the 'Kazakhstan-2050' strategy. The main purpose of this strategy is that in 37 years or possibly less, we can enter the world's top 30 developed countries," the president said.
According to him, parliament today is assigned to special duties.
"Currently over 30 bills are under consideration. Parliament operates with high responsibility, honourably serving as representatives of the people. In future, it is necessary to keep this vector," he noted.
