An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in Kazakhstan on Tuesday, Kazakhstan's Seismological Expedition of the Science Committee under Education and Science Ministry reported.
The earthquake occurred at 7:21 a.m. Astana time (1:21 a.m. Greenwich time), 596 kilometres to the west from the city of Almaty.
There is no information about victims or damage.
