Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay his first state visit to the South African Republic in December, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with reference to Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
The Deputy Foreign Ministries of both countries discussed the preparations of the visit within political talks in Pretoria.
"The preparation and organisation of the first state visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the South African Republic scheduled for early December, was the key issue on the agenda," the ministry said.
The deputy ministries discussed the format and topics of bilateral negotiations in the framework of Nazarbayev's visit. The parties also discussed preparations for the signing of bilateral documents including draft agreements on trade and economic cooperation and interaction in the field of environmental protection, as well as a number of memoranda in various fields.
During the talks, the parties signed a Protoco, and agreed to hold the next round of consultations in 2014 in Astana.
