By a decree of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kairat Abdrakhmanov has been appointed as the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the United Nations, Akorda's press service told on Nov.26.
'Upon a presidential decree Kairat Abdrakhmanov has been appointed as the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the United Nations and dismissed from the post of Kazakh Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to international organisations in Vienna, as well as Kazakh Ambassador to Slovenia', the statement said.
