Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has appointed Karim Massimov Acting Secretary of State, the presidential press-service said on Tuesday.
Massimov was previously head of the presidential administration.
Massimov worked as Kazakh Prime Minister in 2007 -2012. Previously, he served as Minister of Transport and Communications and Assistant to the President.
Marat Tajin was dismissed from the post of Secretary of State due to his transfer to another job in accordance with another presidential decree.
