The prospects of Kazakh-Russian relations will be discussed during an official visit by the Kazakh Foreign Minister Erlan Idrisov to Russia on April 3, the official representative of the Central Communications Service of Kazakhstan, Altay Abibullayev said at a briefing on March 31.

It is expected the parties will discuss the issues relating to cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres during the meeting. The parties will also exchange views on a large spectrum of issues, especially topical issues of the international agenda.

The Kazakh foreign minister will also take part at the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) on April 3 during which it is planned to consider a number of issues relating to the development of this group in the near future, Abibullayev said.
