British Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi paid an official visit to Kazakhstan. This is her fourth visit to Kazakhstan. She will visit Almaty and Astana as part of the visit on April 14-15, the British embassy in Kazakhstan said on April 14.

The purpose of the visit is to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, regional and international issues affecting the interests of both countries. The planned meetings cover a wide range of issues in the business sector, security and common values. This visit stresses an increased level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Great Britain in the commercial and political spheres. This visit is a continuation of British senior officials' after British Prime Minister David Cameron's first successful visit to Kazakhstan in 2013.

Warsi will hold several high-level meetings with Kazakh ministers, as well as other senior officials of the country.

"I am glad to visit Kazakhstan again," she said. "The relations between Great Britain and Kazakhstan are being developed in many spheres. I look forward to meeting with Kazakh colleagues."
