Kazakh Culture Minister, Arystanbek Muhamediuly proposed making a documentary about Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's role in strengthening the interethnic peace and harmony in the country.

"We propose to film a documentary for the 20th anniversary of Kazakh president's chairmanship at the Kazakhstan People Assembly, dedicated to the first president's role in strengthening the interethnic peace and harmony over the years of independence," Muhamediuly said during a briefing held on April 22 at the Central Communications Service for Kazakh President.

Kazakh culture minister also proposed holding the film's premiere on December 1, 2015 on the First President's Day.

Two films about Nazarbayev - 'The Sky of My Childhood' and 'Way of the Leader' were earlier filmed in Kazakhstan.

During a session of the Kazakhstan People Assembly held on April 18 in Astana, Nazarbayev declared 2015 the Kazakhstan People Assembly Year and instructed it to hold a 2015 Forum of Kazakh People.
