Several cooperation agreements were signed between Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, the Kazakh president's press-service said on May 20.

In particular, a joint declaration was signed between Kazakhstan and China.

A memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed between the Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna Joint-stock company and Chinese corporation CITIC Group Corporation.

A memorandum of understanding on funding the project of Petro Kazakhstan Oil Products was signed with the China Exim Bank.

A general agreement on the allocation of a credit line worth $ 500 million was signed between Development Bank of Kazakhstan and China Development Bank.

A framework agreement on pipe production plant construction for the oil and gas industry was signed between the Kazakh national oil and gas company KazMunaiGas and CNPC.

During the meeting, the heads of states discussed a broad spectrum of issues related to the bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, financial, investment, transit, transport and agricultural spheres.

Nazarbayev and Xi Jinping also touched upon the priority aspects of cooperation in international and regional organizations, and exchanged views on key issues of the international agenda, according to the message.

The Kazakh president pointed out that his current visit to China concurs with the fourth Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
