Kazakhstan appointed managements to several committees of the National Economy Ministry, who were presented Aug. 26 by the Minister Yerbolat Dossayev, according to a message from the ministry.
The ministry said that Alikhan Smailov was appointed the chairman of the ministry's statistics committee. Smailov previously served as the chairman of Kazakh Agency for Statistics.
Zhaser Dzharkinbayev, Aydin Ashuyev and Bakhytbek Imanaliyev were appointed the deputy chairmen of the committee. Dzharkinbayev and Ashuyev previously served as deputy chairmen of the Agency for Statistics, and Imanaliyev is the former executive secretary of that agency.
A management was also appointed to the ministry's consumer protection committee. Aliakpar Matishev, the former deputy chairman of the Kazakh Competition Protection Agency, was appointed this committee's chairman.
Zhandarbek Bekshin and Murat Toleutai became the deputy chairmen of the committee.
Kosman Aytmuhametov, the former deputy minister of regional development, will now serve as the chairman of the committee for construction, housing and communal services, and land management.
Vladislav Galiyev, the former chairman of the committee on construction and housing and communal services of Kazakh Regional Development Ministry, Baurzhan Smagulov, the former deputy chairman of the committee for land management of the Regional Development Ministry, and Dina Akrachkova, former director of the legal department of the Environment and Water Resources Ministry, were appointed deputy chairmen of the abovementioned committee.
Serik Zhumangarin was appointed the chairman of the committee for regulation of natural monopolies and competition protection. He is the former deputy minister of Regional Development.
Arystan Kabikenov, the former executive secretary at the Regional Development Ministry, Azamat Maitiyev, the former director of the department for regulation of natural monopolies and competition protection at the Economy and Budget Planning Ministry, Alia Dzhumabayeva, the former director of the department for integration policy at the JSC NC Kazakhstan Railways (Kazakhstan Temir Joly), and Rustam Akhmetov, the former executive secretary of the Kazakh agency for regulation of natural monopolies, were appointed the deputy chairmen of the committee.
