Kyrgyzstan ranks among dangerous for media work countries, Public Association Journalists reported with reference to the Russian mass media Wednesday, reported "24.kg".
The list was prepared by the International Organization Press Emblem Campaign (PEC), which monitored observance of rights of mass media representatives. Along with Kyrgyzstan, the list includes the Gaza Strip, Honduras, Colombia, Afghanistan, Guatemala, Sri Lanka, Venezuela, India, Indonesia, Kenya and Madagascar.
According to the PEC, at least 59 journalists have died in the world during the first six months of 2009.
