Kyrgyzstan will intensify control over illegal activity and corruption in forest sector. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Igor Chudinov, has signed a decree on intensification of law enforcement and management Tuesday, press service of the ministers' cabinet reported.
In order to exterminate illegal logging and corruption, it is necessary to improve legal basis and law enforcement practice, 24.kg reported.
The document has been drafted under international obligations, the Strategy of country's development for 2007-2010, the National plan of forestry's development in 2006-2010 and the State Corruption Control Strategy.
