Public campaign Childhood without Abuse and Violence will unfold in Kyrgyzstan next Month, the event's organizers told the news agency 24.kg Friday.
The campaign is reportedly called to promote observance of UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in Kyrgyzstan and timed to the World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse (November 19) and the day of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the UN General Assembly (November 20).
As part of the campaign schools of Bishkek, Osh, Balykchy, Naryn will hold lessons on children's rights. Besides, inmates of local orphanages and rehabilitation centers will meet with members of executive, legislative branches of power.
