А/H1N1 hit 11 people in Kyrgyzstan

Number of А/H1N1 infected reached 11 persons in Kyrgyzstan, Tolon Isakov, director general of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Department under the Kyrgyz Health Care Ministry told the news agency 24.kg.

Swine flu hit nine Kyrgyzstanis as of November 4. "Other two patients: one - contact, the other - Kazakhstan entrant, were identified over the past twenty-four hours," Isakov said.

As to the official, the number of the positives could increase. "Everything depends on contact persons' health, their immunity while the main task of medics is timely identification and treatment of patients," the director general said.
