Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic has remitted 43 convicts, including four foreigners - citizens of Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Slovakia and Mongolia, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, Prague Express on-line edition reported.
Ban on the republic entry, imposed for violation of stay rules, has been lifted for Aleksei K., a citizen of Kyrgyzstan. The amnesty was granted on the account of absence of the previous convictions and religious persecution in the native country, news agency "24.kg" reported.
