Kyrgyz, Uzbek border guards will proceed to joint patrol of the state border lines. The agreement has been reached between the leadership of the Kyrgyz Border Service and the Border Forces of the Uzbek National Security Service, news agency "24.kg" reported.
The sides positively estimated current level of cooperation in providing border security and coordination of joint efforts on keeping law order at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border, the headquarters of the Kyrgyz Border Service reported.
Guards of two neighbor countries have agreed on sanctioning the model of joint patrol of several parts of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border, submission of the proposals about necessary activation of the joint inter-governmental commission's activity on delimitation and demarcation of borders to the governments and carrying out constant exchange of information about situation on the border.
