Delegates of the Commonwealth of Independent States and international organizations take part in a conference on problems of anti-terrorism and extremism efforts which runs at Ala-Archa state residency Tuesday, news agency "24.kg" reported.
Participants exchange their views over situation in Afghanistan and talk over possible coordination of regional and international organizations and CIS efforts to fight terrorism and extremism.
Situation in the region remains complex mainly due to Afghanistan's threats. As to Kadyrbek Sarbaev, the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan, terrorism and extremism are able to undermine processes of new market economies' development in the region. He outlined the necessity to increase participation of international and regional organizations in solution of the problems.
Terrorism has grown up to the international scale. Terrorists use new methods and actions that dictates necessity of CIS cooperation with international organizations, Turdubek Almamatov, assistant chairman of the Kyrgyz National Security Service said.
