Two law enforcement officers were detained on suspicion of robbery in Bishkek, press service of the Kyrgyz Interior Ministry said.
A young Kyrgyz citizen turned to the ministry alleging two men in police uniform denuded him of 2500 soms on December 17. "A sergeant, a master sergeant of the Pervomai patrol and inspection service and their companion were arrested in course of investigation," the ministry reported.
Moldomusa Kongantiev, Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan took investigation of the case under his personal control.
