Kyrgyzstan's Fire Department has registered a school fire in the village of Kara-Suu in the Osh oblast, on December 19, 2009, news agency "24.kg" reported.
The fire reportedly destroyed four classrooms and a library, with the floor area of 253m2. The school located 80 kilometers away from the fire department and the engines could not get to the scene in time. The fire was extinguished by the local residents.
According to preliminary investigation, the possible cause of fire is improper construction of the school heating system.
