State youth policy program will be drawn up in the nearest time in Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiev President of the country told participants of students' New Year party Friday, news agency "24.kg" reported.
"I charge the Secretariat and the Central Development, Investments and Innovations Agency with drawing up a state youth policy program in the nearest future," Bakiev said.
The leader congratulated the best students on receiving presidential scholarships Altyn Shaty, Prelude and Umut.
"Present-day youth should continuously improve acquired knowledge. That is the demand of swiftly changing labor market and global competition," the president said.
Bakiev also informed the students that the size of presidential scholarships will be raised three times. "Support of successful and talented youth should become daily care of the state," he said.
