The State Physical Culture and Sports Agency of Kyrgyzstan has rewarded the best sportsmen of 2009. The total sum allocated from the scholarship fund amounted to 1,141 million soms, press service of the agency reported.
The top Kyrgyz sportsmen are: Kalybek Jolchubekov, Murat Ramonov (Greco-Roman wrestling), Bazar Bazarguruev, Yana Panova (free-style wrestling), Evgeny Vakker (cycling), Yuri Krakovetskiy, Azat Kubakaev (judo), Vasily Danilov and Vitaly Khudyakov (swimming), news agency "24.kg" reported.
At least 69 athletes and coaches including Petr Yaloma, Meirambek Akhmedov, Emil Alykulov (Greco-Roman wrestling), Anarbek Usenkanov (free-style wrestling), Oleg Roganov (rowing), Evgeny Khudyakov and Evgeny Petrashov (swimming) have received money awards.
