According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health, there were registered 97 maternal deaths in 2009 in Kyrgyzstan, in 2008 -75 cases.
The Ministry said the maternal death level is around 69.1 percent per 100,000 births in the country. They have also registered the increase of this level in Osh, Chui and Naryn oblast. The analysis revealed that the each third woman was not under the medical supervision, news agency "24.kg" reported.
