The presidium of Russia's government approved allocating ten million dollars in financial aid to Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexei Likhachev said following the meeting on Thursday, ITAR-TASS reported.
"Kyrgyzstan addressed Russia for additional non-repayable financial aid to cover the 50 million dollars' deficit of the country's budget," a source in the government said.
However, Russia's Finance Ministry considered it reasonable at the current stage to "allocate the financial aid of up to ten million dollars."
"In May 2010, Russia already provided financial support of 20 million dollars to Kyrgyzstan," a source in the finance ministry said.
