Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with the leader of Kyrgyzstan's Social Democratic Party Almazbek Atambayev on Thursday, press secretary of the prime minister Dmitry Peskov said.
"Over the meeting, Vladimir Putin informed Almazbek Atambayev on the decision, which was approved at the government's presidium on Thursday, that Russia will allocate ten million dollars in aid to Kyrgyzstan", ITAR-TASS reported
Besides, the participants in the meeting discussed "other assistance to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan," Peskov said.
Putin and Atambayev stated that the recent tragic events in that country had affected Kyrgyzstan's gross product.
