Kyrgyzstan's Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced official election results. Five parties enter the parliament. Such statement was voiced by the head of the CEC Akylbek Sariev, news agency "24.kg" reported.

According to the CEC head the 5 percent threshold was covered by Ata-Zhurt (8.4 percent), Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (7.83 percent), Ar-Namys (7.57 percent), Respublica (6.93 percent), Ata-Meken (5.49 percent).

Akylbek Sariev sounded the number of mandates which parties will have. Thus, Ata-Zhurt will have 28 mandates, Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (SDPK) - 26, Ar-Namys - 25, Respublica - 23, Ata-Meken - 18.

The voting was held on October 10, 2010. According to the preliminary data, 5 parties won the elections. Ata-Zhurt gained the most number of votes. It was followed in decreasing order by SDPK, Ar-Namys, Respublica and Ata-Meken. Several parties not passed 5 percent threshold expressed their disagreement with primary election results pointing out numerous violations and falsifications. Butun Kyrgyzstan party lead by Adakhan Madumarov conducted actions of protests in regions and the capital of the republic. Announcement of official election results delayed for almost three weeks due to claims to the election process sounded by a dozen of politicians. Kyrgyzstan's CEC had to conduct collation of ballot-papers.
