International organizations will provide $25 million to Kyrgyzstan for various projects, KyrTAG reports.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Austria, Hungary, Slovak Republic, Poland and Czech Republic; Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to International Organizations Lidia Imanalieva said about it during the presentation of her report to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan on Friday.
"We will carry out projects worth $25 through the international organizations. These projects will be in prison system, the Ministry of Interior, drugs combating. Nearly $ 3.5 million is being spent, and we intend to introduce another $13.5 million by 2015," Imanalieva said.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary noted that drug combating increase in Kyrgyzstan due to international donors, but this work requires regular and systematic action.
"We analyze the situation through IAEA. In this regard, the meeting of the interagency delegation will be organized in September in Vienna.
Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Austria has managed to solve all the financial and organizational issues. The specialists will come in Vienna from Kyrgyzstan. They will be working on issues related to technical cooperation with IAEA," Imanalieva added.
She noted that the embassy is also actively considering the issue of signing the agreements.
"We have worked out of several bilateral interstate, intergovernmental and interagency agreements to sign in every country. Currently we have been developing 11 documents. It is a great package, which involves solving the problem of double taxation, as well as the improvement of international cargo and passenger car communication, which is very important for us," Imanalieva said.
In addition, the ambassador said a meeting of Kirghiz-Slovakian inter-ministerial committee will be held in the autumn of this year.
