U.S. State Department representative Robert Blake will arrive in Bishkek to attend bilateral Kyrgyz-U.S consultations scheduled for January 17, KyrTAG reported referring to spokesman for the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov.
"This will be the second round of annual bilateral consultations," Kadyrbekov said. "The first meeting was held in June 2011. The second was to take place in 2012, but was not held due to obvious reasons. The consultations will take place on January 17. The U.S. delegation will be headed by U.S Assistant Secretary of State Robert Blake."
The official said a list of issues to be discussed as well as the make-up of the Kyrgyz delegation is currently being specified.
Previously, Blake visited Kyrgyzstan in December 2011 and April 2012.
