Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers and Canadian Centerra Gold Inc. evaluated the negotiations on the future of Kumtor project, KyrTAG reported on Tuesday.
The sides agreed to establish a joint venture with equal percentage of shares, but Kyrgyzstan to come out of Canadian company's shareholders.
The final stage of the negotiations was held on Monday in Bishkek.
Due to the establishment of the joint venture the operating companies Kumtor Gold Company and Kumtor Operating Company will be merged.
Both sides will get 50 percent of the new company's shares.
