Kyrgyzstan's external debt is expected to be not more than 45 percent of the country's GDP at the end of 2014, Kabar agency reported on Dec. 3.

This forecast was announced during the session of Kyrgyz parliamentary committee on economic and fiscal policy by the country's Finance Minister Olga Lavrova.

She said Kyrgyzstan's external and state debt remains sustainable.

This figure may be up to 50 percent of GDP, according to newly adopted law on the state debt.

Ms. Lavrova in her statement mentioned, that Kyrgyzstan's external debt includes $300 million indebtedness to Russia, that Moscow promised to write off, starting from 2016.
