An earthquake measuring 5.1 points has rocked Tajikistan at 07.15 a.m. local time (05.15 a.m. Moscow time) on Saturday, a duty officer of the Dushanbe seismological station told Itar-Tass.
According to the seismologists, the tremors were mainly felt in southern and eastern regions of the Central Asian republic, including Gorny Badakhshan, where the highest Pamir lake of Sarez is situated.
The earthquake measured two points in the Tajik capital.
According to the Tajik Emergency Situations Committee, no damages were reported.
