As the Tajik Bureau on Human Rights and Rule of Law said, in the network of its international obligations of encouragement and protection of human rights, Tajikistan will for the first time undergo the inspection under the UN new procedure - Universal Periodic Review.

Today Tajikistan will attend a dialogue for fulfillment of its international obligations in the sphere of human rights for the first time for the previous four years. The delegation consisting of 10 persons will be headed by the Tajik Justice Minister Bakhtiyar Khudoyorov.

As the Tajik Bureau on Human Rights and Rule of Law said, the Universal Periodic Review is the new unique mechanism of the United Nations, which was started in April 2008 and includes inspection of human rights observance in all UN member states once every four years.
