Tajikistan’s budget exceeds $1 billion

Total volume of Tajikistan's state budget exceeded 5 billion somoni (over $1 billion) during the seven months of the year, Avesta.tj reported on Friday with reference to the Finance Ministry.

This index is by 2.2 percent more than detail plan.

Over 3.3 billion of the amount accounts for tax income, which increased by 24.8 percent compared to the similar period of 2011.

Non-tax income to the budget hit 6.8 percent, increasing by 28.1 million somoni compared to similar period of last year.
