U.S. provides vehicles worth $ 1.8 million to Tajik border guards

The U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan delivered vehicles and communications equipment at the amount of $ 1.8 million to the General Administration of Border Troops of the State Committee of Tajik National Security, CA-News reported on Friday with the reference to the Embassy.

According to the statement, this contribution will strengthen border security and the fight against drug trafficking

It was also mentioned that the border guards received 22 off-road vehicles, 33 trucks and communications equipment from the embassy .
