Tomorrow, The Turkmen parliamentary delegation led by parliamentary speaker Akja Nurberdiyeva will visit Iran, Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Mohammad Rza Furgani was quoted as saying by the Iranian Fars news agency.  

During the two-day visit to Tehran, Nurberdieva will meet with Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.

Nurberdieva will visit Tehran upon Larijani's invitation, the ambassador said. The sides will discuss issues of expansion of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and establishment of parliamentary friendship group.

In late December, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will visit Turkmenistan to attend the opening ceremony of the second Iran-Turkmenistan pipeline, he added.
