Turkmenistan replaces ambassador to Turkey

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov signed a decree dismissing Maksat Dovletsakhedov as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey in connection with his transfer to another job, an official Turkmen source said on Saturday.

Ankara has expressed interest in supply of Caspian energy resources to Europe through the Caspian Sea and Turkey. Ashgabat also wants to involve Turkish companies in the construction of the Caspian Sea resort Avaza

Turkish companies implement more than 1,270 investment projects in Turkmenistan. They include more than 1200 projects worth more than $15 billion and 26 projects worth over two billion euros, 26 projects worth over 56 billion manat and other projects.
