Another CIS Council of FM meeting will be held on Dec. 4 in Ashgabat, an official Turkmen source said.
The event will be held in accordance with the action plan on implementation of the presidency concept of Turkmenistan in the CIS in 2012.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow signed a decree for holding of the meeting on high organizational level.
Earlier, CIS Executive Committee reported that the drafts of more than 10 documents aimed at deepening regional cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, security, and other areas will be considered at the next meeting of CIS Council of Foreign Ministers.
Consideration of the draft agreement of CIS member states on cooperation in the logistics of the competent authorities involved in combating terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism, is expected in the field of security.
The information stated that the adoption of the agreement will contribute to formation of a coherent policy, including on concessional terms, in the field of logistics of the competent agencies involved in combating terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism.
A draft decision on the preparation for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) is the most significant in the field of humanitarian cooperation.
In addition, the draft agreement on cooperation in the field of environmental protection of the CIS country members will be discussed. The document is aimed at cooperation in the field of the environment: the use of land, soil, subsoil, water, the atmosphere, the ozone layer and the climate, flora and fauna.
A number of provisions of the new document provide for joint development of international programs and projects in the field of environmental protection and ecological safety, exchange of information on the state of environment, cooperation in the field of environmental technology, development, production and mutual deliveries of new equipment and the necessary instruments of environmental values, special funds for monitoring, prevention and response to natural and manmade disasters.
The Interstate Environmental Council of the CIS member states is being established to ensure coordination in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
Within its competence the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers will consider a report on the activities of the CIS Council of heads of state and public broadcasting organizations.
Turkmenistan will host this forum as the presiding country in the CIS in 2012. The CIS fair of consumer goods has recently been completed in Asgabat . Meetings of Intergovernmental Council on Agriculture and the Council for Rail Transport of CIS member states were also held in Turkmen capital.
