Turkmen President, Supreme Commander of Armed Forces Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made a number of appointments in the country's law enforcement agencies, Turkmen mass media reported.
According to the documents signed by the president, Begmurat Muhamedov was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice; Arslan Chopanov - Deputy Interior Minister; Allamyrat Yalkanov - head of the Caspian Sea border department of the Border Service; Kerim Myradov - chief of Police Department of Dashoguz province.
In addition, according to the presidential decree, Turkmen Defence Minister Begench Gundogdiyev attained the rank of major general.
