Uzbekistan appoints new agriculture minister

Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Jan. 5 / Trend News D.Azizov /

Uzbek President Islam Karimov has appointed Zafar Ruziev new Agriculture and Water Resources Minister.

Earlier Ruziev worked as Deputy Adviser to the President.

In his new post, Ruziev replaced Sayfiddin Ismailov, who was appointed Mayor to the Jizakh region in September 2009.
