President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree to reschedule the weekend to create favorable conditions for people's rest and rational use of working time.
According to decree, the weekend postponed from Wednesday, March 21 to Thursday, March 22, and Sunday, March 25 to Friday, March 23, 2012.
March 21, the celebration of Novruz, and Sunday, March 25 announced working days.
Thus, the Uzbeks will rest for three days - from March 22 to 24 and from Thursday to Saturday.
