Uzbekistan is concerned over an attempt to launch artificial Earth satellite using ballistic missile technology in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in violation of the UN Security Council resolution, Jahon Information Agency under of the country's Foreign Ministry reported.
Uzbekistan calls on the DPRK to adhere to international obligations, to refrain from unilateral actions that could lead to an escalation of tension on the Korean Peninsula.
