The newly appointed Ambassador of Zambia with residence in Moscow Frederick Shumba Hapunda handed over copies of his credentials, addressed to the president of the country, to senior officials of Foreign Ministry on Friday, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting at the Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed the current state and development prospects of Uzbek-Zambian relations, both bilaterally and within international organizations.
The sides expressed mutual interest in strengthening mutually beneficial ties, especially in trade and economic cooperation and noted forward-looking cooperation in agriculture and in other areas.
They also exchanged views on particular regional and international issues.
