Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov held a number of bilateral meetings in New York on September 26-28, 2013, press-service of Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
As it was reported, Uzbek delegation headed by the Minister Kamilov took part in the general debate of the UN General Assembly's 68th session.
Within the session, the Foreign Minister met with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Kristian Vigenin, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, The U.S. special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, James Dobbins, Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Robert Blake, First Deputy Minister of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Minister of State for Religious Affairs and the Commons of the United Kingdom, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi,, Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Kohout and the UN Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman.
Topical aspects of bilateral relations, cooperation issues within the UN and its agencies were discussed during the meetings. There was also exchange of views on regional and international issues.
