According to a decree of Uzbek President Islam Karimov 'in connection with a transfer to another position', Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Eldor Aripov was dismissed from his post.
Eldor Aripov had worked as the Deputy Foreign Minister since December 2012. Prior to working at the Foreign Ministry, he was the First Deputy State Advisor to the president and deputy secretary of the National Security Council under the country's president.
Aripov's post in the Foreign Ministry is currently vacant.
