Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received on June 20 a U.S. delegation visiting Tashkent, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The delegation is headed by the U.S. Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Laurel Miller, according to the report.
The parties discussed the Uzbek-U.S. relations.
During the exchange of views on international issues, a special attention was paid to the developments in Afghanistan and their impact on the processes taking place in the region.
The meeting was also attended by the U.S. Ambassador, George Krol.
